Another round of great FREE music is coming to Russell Crossroads for Memorial Day Weekend!

We will kick off RXR Fest Friday night with music from the Josiah Rodda Band. Josiah has been a Friday On The Green favorite for years. For RXR Fest we asked him to bring the whole band!! Join The Josiah Rodda Band as they kick off this year’s RXR fest Friday, at 6:30.

Taking the stage at at 8 is a group of young men from the Birmingham, Alabama area, Wax Monkey!! Wax Monkey is a 5-piece Jam Band formed in 2023 by childhood friends, known for their improvisational style, Southern rock influences, and winning the 2023 University of Alabama Battle of the Bands. They frequently cover bands like Phish and the Grateful Dead while touring, largely in the Southeastern US.

Not to be outdone by Friday, Saturday will bring us more great music and kicking it off is another Friday On The Green favorite Russell Craig. For RXR Fest, Russell has pulled in his band and will start making his own kind of music on Saturday, at 6:30.

Closing out RXR Fest this year is the Erin Mitchell Band!
Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, EMB is led by powerhouse vocalist Erin Mitchell and features some of the Southeast’s most talented players. Their sound—an energetic mix of Southern roots, rock, soul, and Americana—creates a live experience that’s both powerful and unforgettable. From the first note to the last, the Erin Mitchell Band delivers the kind of performance that brings a crowd together and leaves them wanting more.
