Back by popular demand!  “LET’S TALK TURKEY” 

Naturalist Marianne will be in her Cabin all day with a variety of items from Russell Forest, and some pardoned turkeys who survived the Thanksgiving feast! Bring the family to Christmas at Crossroads and Holiday Bazaar to get a festive dose of nature cheer and meet the one critter that’s on everyone’s Thanksgiving guest list. LIVE TURKEYS, of the domestic variety, will be at the Naturalist’s Cabin for some serious turkey talk. Gobble Gobble Gobble!!  In addition to the birds of honor, an assortment of items left behind by the Eastern Wild Turkey will be available for handling and instruction. Turkeys have interesting features including caruncles, a snood, spurs and a beard! Take a selfie with a friendly live turkey! The whole family will enjoy watching the star of Thanksgiving strut its stuff. Appropriate for all ages. No charge – everyone is welcome!
